The Annapurna Expedition refers to mountaineering expeditions to Annapurna, a prominent mountain in the Himalayas of Nepal. Annapurna is a series of peaks, with Annapurna I being the highest and most famous among them. Annapurna I is the 10th highest mountain in the world, standing at 8,091 meters (26,545 feet) above sea level. It is known for its challenging and dangerous climbing conditions, including avalanches and technical difficulties.
