So, we go to Pokhara city for having experience of Paragliding from where we can see the Himalayas like Mirror. 

 

Itineraries

Your adventure and cultural trip to Nepal begins after your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu. After you will land, get your hand bag and go to immigration office where you can get your Nepal visa. There must be many people; need fill form before apply for visa and get down to 1st floor where you will wait your suitcase. After getting suitcase, go outside where our office member shows your Name in white paper sheet and transfer to Hotel. We have booked your hotel in Thamel which is the touristic hub of Nepal.

After having breakfast we drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu through local villages, Rivers, Forests, Hills and Snowcapped Himalayan Peaks. The road drive goes along with Prithivi Highway with scenery of Trishuli River through Muglin, Khaireni, Dumre, Damauli and finally reach Pokhara. In the evening, you can have beautiful walk near Phewa Lake.

Early in the morning, we will drive 45 minutes to Sarangkot to see sunrise and Annapurna Himalaya range. We can see beautiful Himalayan Peaks such as Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna III (7,555), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Mt. Manaslu (8,163m), Machhapuchare (6,993m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167m). We do paragliding from Sarangkot; takes 1 hour having amazing view of Annapurna Himalayan range along with Pokhara city and Phewa Lake. We drive back to Hotel for breakfast and again ready for Pokahra sightseeing to visit Davi’s fall (water fall), Gupteshowr Cave, Phewa Lake Boating and Word Peace Stupa.

After finishing Pokhara sightseeing, you will fly to Kathmandu from Pokahra airport. It takes 25 minutes to reach Kathmandu from Pokhara. Before you had already scenic drive to Pokhara; so now while return back to Kathmandu we recommend to have flight for relax and time to get final shopping to Home.

Best time to Fly 

Gliding is a weather dependent sport and the flying season in Nepal commences from November through February, the best months being November and December. Under its latitude and monsoonal climate, the tree line in Nepal is at an incredible 3,900 m above sea level. With conditions milder than summer alpine, these are excellent and constant atmospherics. The best months for flying are November, December, and January. The cloud base varies between 2000m and 2700m. Come February, the extremely short and hardly noticeable winter is over, and the ground is parched, the air hazy. Gone are the mild conditions of the previous three months.

 

Seasons to Fly

By March and April, there is a mountain wind, coming off the prominent peaks, and some days causes strong valley winds. Indeed you can windsurf in April on Phewa Tal, the biggest lake in the Pokhara valley. The heavy air is just waiting for the monsoon, and the intermittent storms in April and May are only a forerunner for the spectacular break in the weather comes early June. Even October, November December is also best time to have paragliding in Nepal. 

 

Where do we fly?

The main area for flying in Nepal is the Annapurna region, more specifically the Pokhara valley. This lakeside town is Nepal’s second “city,” nestled at the foot of the Annapurna Himal, the views commanded from here, of 3 of the world's 8000m peaks, are unsurpassed. At an altitude of 800m above sea level.  We drive or fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu to get amazing experience of Paragliding. We do Paragliding in pokhara which is the second largest city of Nepal. 

 

Duration

Paragliding flight in Pokhara begins from 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on the package as you want. Even it affects due to weather condition and seasons. We recommend to have half an hour or one hour flight in paragliding. 

 

Experience

No need any experience to go paragliding because there is a pilot who control it while you enjoy the ride. You just enjoy the view and scenery with your imagination of peace as you want. 

 

Safety 

Ensure that you need to choose reliable paragliding company and follow the safety protocols. Even company provide life jacket, helmet for your safety and you need to listen to the instructions which is provided by your pilot for good safe flight. 

 

Scenery

There will be an amazing Mountain View of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu ranges, calm Phewa Lake, Mountain villages, and lush green forests that makes your flight awe-inspiring. 

 

Price

The Price of paragliding in Pokhara for 1 hour is 60$ - 80$ depending of season and time. Normal cost of Paragliding is 70$ it includes drive to Sarangkot hill from hotel, Experienced Pilot, drive to hotel after finishing Paragliding, Photo and Video and equipment such as life jacket and Helmet.
